The sold-out crowd at Ziggy Marley’s recent concert for children and parents at Club Nokia seemed to embody the refrain from the title song of his newest album, “Family Time:”

Lift up your hearts with a smile

Lift up your feet with a dance

Lift up your spirits with a song

It’s family time, family time

The concert, part of the Grammy Museum’s “Musical Explorations” series, showcased the songs on what’s described as the first “children’s reggae” album from the four-time Grammy winner. The album features a variety of Marley family members, including Ziggy’s mom, Rita, sister Cedella and daughter Judah, as well as friends Paul Simon, Willie Nelson and Jamie Lee Curtis.

The son of reggae legend Bob Marley grew up with music, but he has said that “Family Time” was inspired by Judah, 3, and her younger brother, Gideon.

The young audience seemed inspired too.
