James von Brunn, the white supremacist accused of killing a black security guard at the Holocaust Memorial Museum last week, is unable to appear in court because of the injuries he suffered in the incident, a judge said. Von Brunn, 88, who was shot in the face by other guards, is in critical but stable condition, prosecutor Nicole Waid told U.S. Magistrate Judge John Facciola. The matter was adjourned for a week to see if his condition improves.
