Update: The Sol, which has proven to be the class of Women’s Professional Soccer in the league’s inaugural season, will again look to French winger Camille Abily and Brazilian forward Marta as it tries to extend its unbeaten streak to 10 games. Abily leads the league with seven goals and Marta is second with six. The Sol is 13 points clear of the second-place Boston Breakers and is well-positioned to win the regular-season title and, with it, passage directly into the WPS championship game, which it would therefore play host to Aug. 22. The Sol tied the last-place Red Stars, 1-1, in Carson on June 3, when Abily scored a 90th-minute goal in the teams’ only previous game.
