Parolees: An article in Tuesday’s Section A about the oversight of parolees in California incorrectly reported the latest number of parolees on the streets as 122,000. State data indicate there are about 138,000 parolees on the streets, 16,000 of whom have warrants out for their arrest for failing to report.
