Duet of decor

When Jenna Thornhill and Cali DeWitt moved in together last year, the commingling of their tastes resulted in a style that’s anything but conventional. The couple pull out some unexpected references to describe their Echo Park apartment. “There’s a grandmother influence,” Thornhill says. “A grandmother that neither of us had.”

In the months to come, the Home section online will be peeking into the homes of Southern California’s music industry -- homes as entertaining as the personalities on stage. We start with DeWitt, a longtime member of the L.A. music community and owner of the indie record/ publishing label Teenage Teardrops, and Thornhill, co-vocalist of local punk band Mika Miko. The group is scheduled to play this evening at the annual FYF Fest at Los Angeles State Historic Park in downtown L.A. For the complete photo gallery, look for the link at latimes.com/home.
