Grief journey: In a Nov. 14 article in Section A about writer Gary Ferguson’s hike to spread the ashes of his wife in the wilderness, a caption with a photograph of a campfire scene identified the man on the left as Steve Muth. He is Rand Herzberg.

“The Fighter”: The review of the movie “The Fighter” in the Dec. 10 Calendar section misspelled the first name of boxer Micky Ward as Mickey.

Julie Taymor: A photo caption accompanying a story about director Julie Taymor in the Arts & Books section elsewhere in this edition says that her new movie “The Tempest” opens Friday. The movie opened Friday, Dec. 10. The error was discovered after the section went to press.
