Ring Festival: An article last Sunday about the Los Angeles Opera’s Ring Festival LA said that UCLA’s Kenneth Reinhard’s mother is not Jewish. She is. The article also dropped the first name and identification for University of La Verne professor Alfred Clark.
Angles Gallery: The Galleries listings last Sunday for “Tom LaDuke: Auto Destruct” gave an old address in Santa Monica for the Angles Gallery, which has relocated to 2754 S. La Cienega Blvd. in Los Angeles.
‘Let There Be Light’: An article last Sunday quoted director Martin Scorsese saying that the World War II documentary “Let There Be Light,” commissioned by the U.S. Army, “was banned. I don’t think that ban has ever been lifted.” The film was declassified in 1980.
