JEFFREY KATZENBERG

The chairman of the Walt Disney Studios from 1984 to’94, the 59-year-old Katzenberg founded DreamWorks SKG with Steven Spielberg and David Geffen in 1994. He has served as the chief executive officer of DreamWorks Animation since 2004.

In 1984, Disney was part of an investor revolt that led to management changes at the studio his uncle founded. After serving as Disney’s vice chairman and animation head, he led the 2004 uprising against Eisner. Disney died in December at age 79.

PETER SCHNEIDER

Named president of Disney’s feature animation division in 1985, Schneider was elevated to studio chairman in 2000. Having co-produced “The Lion King” stage musical, Schneider, 59, left Disney in 2001 to start an independent Broadway production company.
