Classic Hollywood: The Classic Hollywood feature in Wednesday’s Calendar section said that William Link’s new book was called “The Columbo Chronicles.” The correct title is the “The Columbo Collection.”

Fringe festival: In an article in Wednesday’s Calendar section about the Hollywood Fringe Festival, an Irish comedian was identified as Abie Brown. His name is Abie Bowman.

World Cup: An article in Thursday’s Calendar section about the telecasts of the World Cup said the 1994 tournament was held in Chicago. The games were hosted in a number of U.S. cities, including Chicago.

BP cleanup costs: In Thursday’s Business section, a chart of BP’s annual profits that accompanied an article about the company’s costs associated with the gulf oil spill used an incorrect scale. The range of the chart’s scale was shown as $1.0 billion to $2.5 billion; it should have been $10 billion to $25 billion.

Dietary guidelines: An article in Wednesday’s Section A about preliminary federal dietary guidelines should have listed the Department of Health and Human Services as a coauthor of the recommendations. It also referred incorrectly to the recommended maximum daily intake of salt. It should have said “sodium.”

Tour price: A June 6 Travel section brief in Tours & Cruises about Paul Gauguin Cruises’ South Pacific trip implied that the cruise price — $6,195 — would be eligible for a 45% discount if the trip was booked by June 30. That price already reflects the discount.
