Vampire-Con Film Fest Holding a vampire movie marathon in sun-drenched L.A. may seem odd, but there’s plenty for horror fans to sink their teeth into at this celebration of cinematic bloodsuckers. Art-A-Fair Festival Walk among the artists as they create their fine art and master craft pieces at Laguna Beach’s 44th annual Art-A-Fair Festival. The juried art of 125 international, national and local artists — plus workshops taught by AAF artists — is the focus of this 2-month-long celebration of creativity. Electric Daisy Carnival Over two days last year, Insomniac Events’ Electric Daisy Carnival, now in its 14th year, drew a reported 135,000 people to the Los Angeles Coliseum for a rave that featured carnival rides, a sculpture park and dozens of the world’s most popular DJs. This summer’s installment, which takes place at Exposition Park as well as the Coliseum, promises to be just as big and will feature, among others, MSTRKRFT, Moby, Steve Aoki, Deadmau5 and Z-Trip.
