That case was a civil matter, not a criminal one, and Uwaydah was “adjudged to have committed fraud,” according to California Medical Board records.
Taste at the Grove: A Thursday Calendar Hot List item about the Taste at the Grove event Saturday featured a photo of chef Giada De Laurentiis and said in the caption that she was slated to appear. De Laurentiis was not scheduled to appear at the event.
