‘Devil’: A photo caption accompanying an article in the Sept. 16 Calendar section on the director and producer of the new film “Devil” misidentified John Erick Dowdle and Drew Dowdle. Producer Drew Dowdle was on the left, and director John Erick Dowdle on the right.

Lucas Cruikshank: An article about teen actor Lucas Cruikshank in the Sept. 16 Calendar section identified the executive producer of his TV movie for Nickelodeon, “Fred: The Movie,” as Brian Williams. His name is Brian Robbins.

Hitchcock tribute: The Screening Room column in the Sept. 16 Calendar section about American Cinematheque’s tribute to Alfred Hitchcock said Tippi Hedren would appear Sunday in conjunction with the screening of “The Birds” and “Marnie.” She will not be in attendance.

Elizabeth Warren: An article in the Sept. 16 LATExtra section about President Obama’s appointment of Elizabeth Warren to help launch the new Consumer Financial Protection Bureau included a reference to Rep. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.). Sanders is not a representative. He is a U.S. senator from Vermont.

‘Tea party’ wins: An article in the Sept. 16 Section A about primary election victories by the “tea party” movement included a reference to Sen. Tim Kaine, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. Kaine is not a senator, and the committee he chairs is the Democratic National Committee.
