Jeb Bush tells Charlie Rose he’s out as Romney’s vice president

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told “CBS This Morning” anchor Charlie Rose that “under no circumstances” will be a running mate for Republican presidential hopeful Mitt Romney but is not ruling out running for the White House in the future.

“I’m not going to do it, and I’m not going to be asked and it’s not going to happen,” Bush said Tuesday when asked about being the running mate for Romney. “That doesn’t mean I don’t have a voice. Doesn’t mean I don’t want to enthusiastically support Mitt Romney. I intend to do that. I’m doing it.”

But when asked whether he would consider running for president in the future, Bush said, “You know, you never know. That’s pure speculation. And one thing I know for sure is you don’t worry about could have, would have.”
