Health Net named Mark El-Tawil its new chief senior products officer. Jim Morris has rejoined Western Digital as vice president and general manager of the company’s notebook storage business unit. Old Pasadena Management District announced the promotion of Steve Mulheim to president and chief executive officer.

Los Angeles-based Health Net, Inc. (NYSE:HNT) announced it has named Mark El-Tawil its new chief senior products officer effective Monday, November 20, 2006. El-Tawil succeeded Sam Srivastava, who resigned. Most recently, El-Tawil was the head of Health Net’s Arizona health plan. The company said El-Tawil will report to Steven H. Nelson, president of Health Net of the Northeast. El-Tawil will retain responsibility for the company’s Arizona health plan until a permanent replacement is selected.

Lake Forest-based Western Digital Corp. (NYSE:WDC) today announced that Jim Morris has rejoined the company as vice president and general manager of the company’s notebook storage business unit. Reporting to president and chief operating officer John Coyne, who becomes chief executive officer January 2, 2007, Morris will be responsible for driving growth of the company’s hard drives business in notebook computing and portable storage applications. Most recently, he was a senior vice president and general manager with RSI Home Products, a consumer durables manufacturer.

Old Pasadena Management District announced the promotion of Steve Mulheim to president and chief executive officer, effective immediately. Mulheim has served the district as vice president of operations, overseeing the maintenance, security, parking teams and general operations. Prior to his tenure with the district, Mulheim served as chief operating officer for the Pacific Asia Museum.
