Blue-collar comic Bill Engvall lists home in white-collar Manhattan Beach
Comedian and actor Bill Engvall has listed his Cape Cod-inspired house in Manhattan Beach for sale at $5.498 million.
The onetime Blue Collar Comedy troupe member bought the property in the wealthy white-collar beach community in 2006 for $3,712,500.
Custom-built in 2005, the blue two-story house has 6,065 square feet of living space that features an open floor plan, a theater and game room with a built-in bar, six bedrooms and seven bathrooms. There are fireplaces in the dining, family and living rooms as well as the master bedroom.
The family room opens to an outdoor entertaining area with a waterfall, a fire pit, a dining area, a built-in bar and barbecue and a spa.
The three-car garage has an electric car charger.
