Brendan Fraser’s former home in Beverly Hills enchants a buyer
Once owned by “The Mummy” star Brendan Fraser, this sleek Beverly Hills contemporary is no longer enveloped in uncertainty.
The four-bedroom home sold for $4.013 million, or about $250,000 shy of its original list price in March, records show.
Set behind frosted glass gates and palm trees, the museum-vibe house caters to the Hollywood lifestyle with such amenities as a photography darkroom, a gym and a home theater.
In the living room, a wall of windows climbing two stories provides views of the city. A second-floor balcony looks down onto the room, which has maple floors and white gallery walls.
A booth-lined dining area sits adjacent to the chef’s kitchen, which features long chrome countertops and white cabinetry.
Glass doors lead to a patio shaded by trees. Down a set of stairs is a solar-heated swimming pool and spa equipped with waterfalls.
One of the two master suites has a loft, fireplace and floor-to-ceiling windows providing canyon views. An office, wine cellar and 3.5 bathrooms complete the home’s 3,948 square feet.

Fraser bought the property in 1996 for $675,000 and sold it a little over decade later for $2.99 million, public records show.
The 48-year-old actor has film credits including “George of the Jungle” (1997), “Looney Tunes: Back in Action” (2003) and “Journey to the Center of the Earth” (2008). In 2008, he reprised his famous role for the sequel to “The Mummy,” titled “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor.”
