Ellen DeGeneres lists Beverly Hills condo for sale

It appears that talk-show host Ellen DeGeneres has a real estate itch that just can’t be scratched enough. She just snapped up a $26.5-million estate in Montecito, featured her Hidden Hills ranch in Elle Décor (in advance of re-listing it perhaps?) and now The Times has confirmed that she is trying to sell a pied-a-terre in Beverly Hills for $899,000. Maybe she should start her own real estate blog.
The corner penthouse features an entry gallery (translation: hall) opening to the living and dining area, an eat-in kitchen, a laundry room, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, 1,683 square feet of space and mountain views. There’s also a “paparazzi-proof” doorman, according to Zillow.
DeGeneres, 55, and spouse Portia De Rossi, 40, bought the property in 2010 for $835,000, public records show.
