Former Dodger Jay Gibbons is hoping his Westlake Village home is a hit with a buyer. He’s listed the North Ranch area property at $2.925 million.
The one-story house, built in 1987, sits on close to 1.5 parklike acres off a cul-de-sac. Entered through double doors, the home features an open floor plan, vaulted ceilings and extensive windows. The main living area has sliding glass doors that open to a patio and the swimming pool area.

Views take in the surrounding mountains. There are five bedrooms, six bathrooms and 5,649 square feet of living space -- not to mention his tricked-out trophy room.
Gibbons, 39, was a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Baltimore Orioles from 2001 to 2007 and was with the Dodgers in 2010 and 2011. He is a hitting coach for the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes.
He bought the house in 2012 for $1.8 million, public records show.
