Show host Marco Antonio Regil lists Santa Monica home for sale

Mexican TV personality and game-show host Marco Antonio Regil has a house in Santa Monica for sale at $2.199 million.
The contemporary home, rebuilt in 2012, features an open-plan layout, high ceilings and 3,252 square feet of living space. The kitchen and dining room adjoin a step-down living room with French doors opening to the backyard.
Stairs with wrought-iron railings lead up to the master suite, which takes up the entire second level. There are a total of four bedrooms and four bathrooms. One bedroom has been in use as a radio studio.
Regil, 44, got his start as a teenage radio DJ. He has hosted shows in English and Spanish, including versions of “The Price Is Right,” “Family Feud” and “Are You Smarter Than a 5thGrader?” Regil is also an actor and producer.
He bought the property two years ago for $1.85 million, public records show.
