Choreographer Mia Michaels bows out of Fairfax area home

Choreographer Mia Michaels of “So You Think You Can Dance” fame has sold a charming character house in the Fairfax area for $1.775 million.

Built in 1924, the Traditional-style home has a pitched roof and 2,098 square feet of living space on one level.

The turn-key home has a center-island kitchen open to a family room, a dining room off the living room, one fireplace, three bedrooms and four updated bathrooms. The high ceiling in the living room is adorned with original plaster details.

Michaels, 48, has won two Emmys for choreography on the dance competition show. She has worked with entertainers including Madonna, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Prince.
