Mike Dunleavy Sr. may have acted too soon when he sold his Century City condo last month for $6.95 million. He may want a place in proximity to Staples Center, the airport and the Toyota Sports Center in El Segundo.

The retired NBA player and former Lakers and Clippers coach is a likely name on the long list of individuals who will be considered to replace recently resigned Lakers coach Mike D’Antoni. On his SiriusXM NBA Radio show, Dunleavy said that he would “definitely be interested” if asked.

The luxury unit Dunleavy sold in The Century was a generous 4,660 square feet with a center hall, breakfast and dining areas, a service entrance, wine cellar, four bedrooms and six bathrooms.

Building amenities include a 75-foot swimming pool, fitness center and concierge service.

Dunleavy, 60, coached the Lakers, who train at the El Segundo complex, from 1990 to 1992 and was interviewed for the position after Mike Brown was fired in 2012.

He bought the condo in 2012 for $4.5 million, according to Realtor.com, which first spotted the sale.

Bachir Oueida of Nelson Shelton & Associates was the listing agent. Steven Levine and Jennifer Levine of Hilton & Hyland/Christie’s International Real Estate represented the buyer.
