Hot Property: Shannen Doherty lists her Malibu house for $4.4 million

First Shannen Doherty dumped the 90210 ZIP Code, and it would appear she is now ready to shed some 90265 skin. A star of the 1990s TV hit “Beverly Hills 90210,” Doherty has listed her 3,410-square-foot home in Malibu at $4.4 million.

Built in 1976, the five-bedroom house has 4 1/2 baths and a master suite with a fireplace, according to listing information. The 1.1-acre property has ocean views, a long driveway, a large motor court and lots of gardens. There are outdoor patios, a pool and spa.

She purchased the property in April 2004 at $2,560,025, according to public records. The county assessor cited the 2007 value of land and improvements at $2,716,691, but as with any property, the market sets the price.

The 37-year-old actress, who spent three years as a good witch on “Charmed” after her stint as the dogmatic drama queen Brenda Walsh on “Beverly Hills 90210,” more recently hosted the unscripted reality show called “Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty.” We can forgive her for that, given that she has multiple mortgages to pay.

One of Shando’s (as she is known) retreats is her horse ranch up in Ventura County -- the home where she reportedly goes to chill out. She also owns a 3,600-square-foot home in Malibu that she is not selling.
