Audrina Patridge expecting baby No. 1 with fiance Corey Bohan

Audrina Patridge is expecting a baby with fiance Corey Bohan, the reality-TV personality announced Friday.

"I finally figured out what to get Corey for Christmas! #babyontheway," she said on Twitter, adding a couple of more hashtags indicating that the picture of herself with holiday trimmings and a positive pregnancy test was in fact an ad for said test.

(Hey, mama's gotta work to buy those booties, right?)

On her website, she elaborated: "It has been incredibly difficult keeping my mouth shut on this one because all I've wanted to do is shout it from the rooftops! But, now that my doctor has given me the OK, it is safe to announce that…. I’m PREGGERS!!!:)," wrote the veteran of "The Hills."

No morning sickness so far, Patridge said, though she did feel a little off before she knew she was expecting. Bohan had "a permanent smile glued to his face for the rest of the night" after she shared the news with him.

The hardest part, she said, was the booze. Or rather, the no booze possibly resulting in her secret going public too soon.

"[W]e were going to a dinner party, and I knew I had to keep it a secret, so I told everyone I was on a detox cleanse to cover my lack of alcohol consumption. With the combination of my poor lying skills and Corey’s perma-smile, we were given 'the look' over and over again by our friends and family, so it's safe to say the secret was not a secret much longer!"

Patridge and professional BMX dirt-bike rider Bohan got engaged a little less than a month ago after dating on and off since 2008. She will, not surprisingly, be blogging about her pregnancy.
