‘Lovable,’ ‘clumsy klutz’ Jennifer Lawrence is FHM’s sexiest woman

Share

Jennifer Lawrence has been named FHM’s sexiest woman in the world for 2014.

“The Hunger Games” star tops the British men’s magazine 20th annual list, unseating last year’s champ Mila Kunis and sending her down to the No. 6 spot.

The reasons: JLaw’s pixie-cut popularity, “shaming” Jack Nicholson after the 2013 Oscars, her starring role in “Hunger Games,” that notion that apparently “no heterosexual man is safe from developing a ferocious crush on her” and her near-naked reprisal of Mystique in “X-Men” Days of Future Past” kept FHM paying attention.

The mag, which polls readers to determine its 100 leading ladies, also noted the 23-year-old’s “out-cleavaging” of Amy Adams in “American Hustle,” her photobombing of Taylor Swift at the Golden Globes, her self-deprecating charm when she coined the term “armpit vagina” at the SAG Awards and her infamous second fall at this year’s Oscars.

“She probably trips up on hearing the news, because she’s such a big clumsy klutz. Dear God, she’s just so lovable,” the mag said.

Rounding out the top 10: Britain’s “Coronation Street” star Michelle Keegan, pop star Rihanna, “Blurred Lines” model Emily Ratajkowski, “The Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting, Kunis, pop diva Beyonce, British actress Lucy Mecklenburgh, Pussycat Dolls alum Nicole Sherzinger and “Her” voice actress Scarlett Johansson.

Not mentioned anywhere in the 100? People magazine’s most beautiful woman of 2014: Lupita Nyong’o. And apparently it was a banner year for “older” women -- those in their 30s and 40s -- as well.

“Sandra Bullock and Kate Moss are the sole survivors from the class of ‘95,” wrote FHM editor Dan Jude.

But the tastes of the magazine’s readers weren’t “all that different” since then, Jude wrote.

“Actress is still the most popular profession. Brits are still the most-voted-for nationality. And the twenties remain your favourite age group. Plus you still rate your royals,” he said.
