Katy Perry has either gotten her hair cut like Kris Jenner, or pulled off a perfect April Fools' Day prank.

The "Dark Horse" singer, who most recently sported a long, dark bob, posted a selfie on Instagram on Wednesday debuting a messy pixie cut. However, given what day it is and the Kardashian family member she decided to emulate, we're patiently waiting for it to be followed by a "jk, you guys."

Perry's rep didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

"I asked for the Kris Jenner," the 30-year-old captioned the sultry snap in question.

The reaction in the photo's comments section varied from awe to disgust, as is wont to happen with celebs' pics on Instagram. We stand firmly in the Rizzo-from-"Grease" camp.

The shorter hairstyle -- or wig -- did capture the attention of the Kardashian matriarch, who reposted the photo with the caption, "LOL I love you! You look gorgeous beautiful girl!!! #stunning #sexy #eyesareamazing #Repost @KatyPerry"

If the cut isn't a prank, it surprisingly wouldn't be Perry's most outrageous styling choice. The pop vixen has sported a green bob, blue hair, pink hair, ombre tresses, glow sticks in her hair and even more wigs. Take a walk down her wacky memory lane here.
