Hollywood Headlines: A crazy week in review

Family and friends gave Amy Winehouse a mournful sendoff on Tuesday with a funeral at Edgwarebury Cemetery, followed by her cremation at Golders Green Crematorium. Fans showed their support with memorials, music downloads of her hit “Back to Black” album and tribute covers of “Rehab.” The iconic Brit was just 27.

Just as news hit about the end of the NFL lockout so did reports that Chicago Cubs quarterback Jay Cutler and his fiance, Kristin Cavallari, had split. Rumor has it he dumped her, but one thing’s for sure: Cutler just lost his biggest cheerleader.   (Charley Gallay / Getty Images)

One little tweet set off a near-riot in Hollywood Wednesday night. DJ Kaskade thought he would bring the “Electric Daisy Festival Experience” to the people by showing up at the documentary‘s premiere with a flat-bed truck ready to jam. Chaos ensued after the electronic musician, featured in the rave film, tweeted “ME+BIG SPEAKERS+MUSIC=BLOCK PARTY!!!” and thousands showed up outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre for the invitation-only premiere. Despite ongoing divorce proceedings, Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger saw eye-to-eye on one thing this week: their son’s recovery. Christopher Schwarzenegger was released from the hospital Monday evening after a beach accident that at first appeared life threatening. Both parents tweeted their thanks and praise for the doctors and staff who helped nurse their son back to health. His injuries included several broken bones and a collapsed lung.   (Jae C. “Boardwalk Empire” actress Paz de la Huerta put an end to her legal woes stemming from assault charges after a girl-on-girl bar fight in New York in March. The actress pleaded guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court of harassing “The City” star Samantha Swetra. Her original five misdemeanor counts were reduced to a violation, and she now faces one day of community service and 12 weeks of alcohol counseling.   (Craig Ruttle /Associated Press)

“True Blood” star Alexander Skarsgard and “L!fe Happens” actress Kate Bosworth put an end to their super-secret relationship that began in August 2009. The blond bombshells reportedly went their separate ways a while ago, but the reason for the split was “mutual.”

The Mother Monster stopped to guest judge “So You Think You Can Dance,” and during an emotional number from contestant Marko, who had a working-at-75% night, Lady Gaga cried. Yes, it can happen.

No “XOXO” here. “Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles Superior Court alleging money mishandling and lies on the part of her mother, Constance, who fired back almost immediately with a lawsuit claiming a verbal agreement for a payday. Keeping with Betty White‘s example, “Iron Man 2” actress Scarlett Johansson declined an invitation to the Marine Corp. Ball in Albany, Ga., despite Sgt. Dustin L. Williams video that included various calisthenics and a picture of Johansson toasting with bubbly.
