Is Alec Baldwin looking for a career change? A gig as mayor of New York, perhaps? “It’s a long way till November of 2013” he tweeted, but his rep Matthew Hiltzik told the Daily News, “I wouldn’t rule it out.” Rumors of Baldwin running for office started after Rep. Anthony Weiner, who is married, admitted to sending racy photos of himself to women he’d met online (a.k.a. Eminem’s “Kiss” is anything but sweet. Instead the rapper uses his latest song with Royce da 5’9” to diss fellow musicians, referring to Lady Gaga as a dude and Justin Bieber as a demon. Not everything about Sheryl Crow‘s CMT Music Awards performance with Kid Rock was choreographed on Wednesday night, especially the part where she flashed her panties. During their “Collide” duet, Crow suffered a wardrobe malfunction when she stepped up from her stool to dance and the audience caught a glimpse of her underwear. Consequently, the Twitterverse went nuts. Crow joked about the snafu later in the show, calling it “clean family entertainment.”

Sheryl wasn’t the only one left red-faced after the award ceremony. Shania Twain stumbled on stage as she went up to present an award. She later laughed off the fall in a personal video to fans, saying, “I don’t need a stunt double because I do my own stunts.”

Lindsay Lohan might be on house arrest, but she still has to keep creepy stalkers away. The actress won a two-year restraining order against David Cocordan on Wednesday in hopes of getting him to leave her alone. Cocordan has allegedly called and texted her more than 100 times, along with leaving heart-shaped boxes of chocolates and magazine articles about her at her house. The 38-year-old also tried to intervene during Lohan’s criminal theft case, seeking out Judge Stephanie Sauter at the courthouse and telling a clerk he was Lindsay’s fiance.  (Chris Pizzello / Associated Press)
