Hollywood Headlines: a crazy week in review

Details are slipping out over the upcoming Tiger Woods and Elin Nordegren divorce. British tabloid the Sun is reporting that Tiger must keep new girlfriends away from the kiddiewinks, and that Elin would have to keep her tongue tied about Tiger’s past dalliances. Apparently Elin’s set to file in Florida over the next week. As much as she didn’t want to go, Naomi Campbell is heading to court -- but a big, fancy one at the Hague. She’ll be testifying about the big ol’ uncut blood diamond that the former Liberian President Charles Taylor allegedly gave to her as a pressie. He’s up on war crimes, you see, so these things matter. It’ll be interesting to see how the court case goes, especially with Naomi on the stand. Just when we were beginning to feel the palatable absence of a story involving a celebrity’s racist rantings, Mel Gibson comes back to save the day. In tapes allegedly submitted under seal (not the singer) to the judge (not Mike) in Gibson’ custody battle with ex-baby mama Oksana Grigorieva, the actor allegedly calls her all sorts of names, slings the N-word around, and talks about some bodily harm she has coming to her. Larry King announced in June that he was hanging up his CNN suspenders and retiring to spend more time with his on-again off-again wife, Shawn, and their kids. His last episode aired in December.
