Selena Gomez describes the most humiliating moment of her life

Share

Selena Gomez opened up Friday morning about the moment that just made her die inside -- though hordes of Beliebers might not really believe her experience was that harrowing.

Pushed by Ryan Seacrest to spill the dish on her kiss-cam moment with Justin Bieber at the L.A. Lakers-San Antonio Spurs game Tuesday night, Gomez didn’t exactly stand by her man.

“That was probably the most humiliating thing that has ever happened to me,” she said. “Probably.”

See? Watching the kiss-cam is all fun and games, until someone gets hurt.

“I thought those were funny,” Gomez said, “and they were doing, like, these little elderly couples and it was so cute, and then all of a sudden we were both looking up and then we come on and it’s like, oh, so awkward. It was so weird.”

“And,” she said, “you have to kiss, right?”

Yes, Miss Gomez, you do -- especially if you admit to being a Spurs fan at a Lakers game. Unless, of course, you’re Seacrest, who revealed that he’d he opted to hug the guy on the other side of his companion, the one time a kiss-cam was trained on him.

Gomez, the “Wizards of Waverly Place”actress who will be seen with James Franco next year in the movie “Spring Breakers,” was also announced as the first ambassador for the Ryan Seacrest Foundation. The foundation brings broadcast media centers to pediatric hospitals, so children who are dealing with severe illness or injury can explore firsthand the realms of radio, TV and new media.
