Brandi Glanville: ‘Twitter seems to work’ in reaching LeAnn Rimes

Share

Co-parenting in Hollywood can be an ugly — and evidently public — game. Just ask “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Brandi Glanville.

Tension has been brewing between Glanville and ex-husband Eddie Cibrian, specifically over some accusations about the care of their two children when around Eddie’s new wife, singer LeAnn Rimes.

“Mason, my eldest, ate some of [LeAnn’s] candies and got extremely ill. And Le’s candies are laxatives,” Glanville told Us Weekly on Wednesday. “It was a big ... deal for me, and I lost my mind.”

A rep for Rimes dismissed the claim as “just more inaccuracies and half-truths,” but it didn’t stop the women from barking at one another on Twitter.

Social-media swatting might seem like normal behavior for a “Housewives” cast member, but yet another Us interview reveals a deeper struggle for Glanville to connect with the father of her children, as she tells it.

“I don’t have communication with [Eddie and LeAnn] because I don’t get responses when I reach out,” she said on Thursday. “I only get responses when I put it on Twitter. Twitter seems to work.”

It’s a pretty sad state of affairs, if you ask us, but perhaps another example of how pervasive social platforms can force folks into action. Or just amazing fodder for another season of reality TV.

Sound off about the parental politics in comments.
