SUNDAY

Will Matthew and Lady Mary marry? Whither Mr. Bates? The answers to those and other questions will have to wait until our fave Brit-soap returns in January. Till then, there’s the new retrospective “Downton Abbey Revisited.” (KOCE, 7 and 8:30 p.m.)

Love, peace … and soul! This year’s edition of the “Soul Train Awards” will include a tribute to Don Cornelius, creator and host of the late, great syndicated dance program “Soul Train,” who died this year. (BET, 8 p.m.)

Before “Brangelina,” before “Bennifer,” there was “Liz & Dick.” Lindsay Lohan is Elizabeth Taylor and Grant Bowler is Richard Burton in this new bio-pic celebrating the preeminent celebrity couple’s storied and stormy romance. (Lifetime, 9 p.m.)

MONDAY

After tonight, “Revolution” will not be televised again … until March! And since this post-apocalyptic drama comes courtesy of “Lost’s” J.J. Abrams, expect epic confrontations, shocking revelations and a cliffhanger or three. (NBC, 10 p.m.)

TUESDAY

1981. A jumpin’ joint on Chicago’s South Side. A legendary bluesman shows some relative whippersnappers how it’s done, and the whole thing is recorded for posterity, in the rockumentary “Muddy Waters and the Rolling Stones Live.” (KOCE, 10 p.m.)

WEDNESDAY

There’s no place like home for the holidays. But a close second might be “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.” Mariah Carey, Rod Stewart and CeeLo Green are among the performers slated for the 80th-annual tree-lighting ceremony. (NBC, 8 p.m.)

THURSDAY

The Who … as well as the what, when, where, why and how of the recording of the British band’s landmark 1973 album are recalled in archival footage and interviews in “Quadrophenia: Can You See the Real Me?” (BBC America, 6 and 9 p.m.)

FRIDAY

It ain’t easy being CeeLo Green, above. He’s on TV almost every day. But with an assist from the Muppets, et al., the R&B; singer and co-star of “The Voice” will spread holiday cheer in the new special “CeeLo’s Magic Moment.” (TV Guide, 8 p.m.)

SATURDAY

Road trip! Hit the highway with Preston Sturges’ 1941 fable “Sullivan’s Travels,” Art Carney in 1974’s “Harry and Tonto,” Albert Brooks’ 1985 comedy “Lost in America” and 1954’s Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz vehicle “The Long, Long Trailer.” (TCM, 5, 7, 9, 11 p.m.)
