“Everwood” star Tom Amandes directed this (slightly belated) Halloween-themed episode. Zoe hits a man with her car on her way home from a house call -- and discovers that he’s apparently been dead for a year. Meanwhile, Lavon gets in the way of a big step for George and Lemon when he refuses to sign off on the purchase of their new home.
Chase (Jesse Spencer) and Taub (Peter Jacobson) return to Princeton Plainsboro, and Taub struggles with balancing his work and being a father to two babies -- with two different women. “Battlestar Galactica’s” Jamie Bamber guests as a patient who’s been lying about his behavior more than most of the people House sees.
The hitting coach of the local minor league team drops dead and the manager hires Psych to investigate. Shawn goes undercover as the new hitting coach and Gus is the team mascot. Guest starring Danny Glover and Wade Boggs as himself (pictured).Andrea Reiher, Zap2it(USA)
It’s homecoming time for Mystic Falls High, but everybody knows that dances in this town are not a good time. The band My Morning Jacket shows up to rock the party (at the Lockwood mansion, naturally), where Tyler is not on his best behavior. Meanwhile, Elena’s date may surprise you...
Adam is not pleased when Melissa’s hot cousin Holden shows up in town and sparks some interest from Diana -- but he’s also not super psyched about Cassie’s fledgling relationship with Jake when Faye discovers his dark secret. Meanwhile, Cassie and Jake try to find out more about why she has powers outside of the circle.
Rebekah finally spills the beans on her family’s sordid history as we flash back to Mystic Falls circa the year 1000. We’ll meet the Original family before they were vampires - including Klaus, Rebekah, Elijah, and their mother, Esther. We’ll also finally meet that Original Witch who has been wreaking havoc on Mystic Falls from beyond the grave.
Well, this is going to be a tearjerker. When George O’Malley’s mom comes to Seattle Grace for treatment, the residents are stricken by a bout of nostalgia. Throw in a medical miracle (a heart that beats without a body?) and Teddy and Henry’s first fight -- yep, sounds like sweeps.
The circle (including newbie Jake) hits the road when Cassie becomes concerned about her grandmother’s whereabouts, but a storm turns their road trip into an overnighter complete with booze and a game of truth-or-dare that appears to get rather steamy for Cassie and the bad-boy next door.
Remember that cult Leslie (Amy Poehler) has mentioned took over Pawnee briefly in the ‘70s? Well, they’re back and predicting Doomsday, which puts everyone in a contemplative mood. Well, almost everybody -- Tom (Aziz Ansari) just wants to throw a huge party before he loses the Entertainment 7Twenty office space.
Ryan and Nikita try to meet about how Oversight gets its funding, but Amanda intercepts their coded messages. Nikita and Michael have to break him out of prison while Alex comes face to face with her past.
Three of the Atlanta regulars are pursuing their entrepreneurial dreams -- Kandi’s marketing sex toys, Phaedra is building a funeral home empire and Cynthia is opening a modeling school. But we kind of can’t wait to see a pregnant Kim Zolciak, watch NeNe and Kim ice each other out and get a vicarious thrill from Sheree’s spending.
