Rodarte designers to direct movie starring Kirsten Dunst

Rodarte designers Kate and Laura Mulleavy have created costumes for film (notably “Black Swan,” starring Natalie Portman, in 2010). Now, the Hollywood Reporter says, they are lined up to direct a film. They’ve signed on to helm “Woodshock,” which is based on a screenplay they wrote. Kirsten Dunst is set to star in the film. Christian Dior showed its cruise collection Monday at Pierre Cardin’s Bubble Palace outside Cannes. The show was originally supposed to be in Los Angeles, but the French fashion house ditched L.A. as soon as the Cannes opportunity came along. [The Cut]
