Duchess of Cambridge appears in public, wearing McQueen

After her bout with extreme morning sickness, the Duchess of Cambridge was expected to remain secluded and resting until at least Christmas. But she made a surprise appearance Sunday night as a presenter at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards, wearing a long green gown from Alexander McQueen. [People]

“Les Miserables” hasn’t even been released yet and already British-born Eddie Redmayne -- who plays romantic lead Marius -- is the toast of Hollywood, enjoying perks such as upgraded hotel suites and a stylist who makes sure his hair is mussed just the right amount. [New York Times]
