Jean Paul Gaultier took to Twitter with an open letter calling out Style.com’s Tim Blanks, who wrote a negative review of Gaultier’s Paris Haute Couture show last week -- a review that included calling European reality star Nabilla Benattia a “down market” choice to walk the runway. “The Tim I knew before would never have made the attacks more personal than professional,” Gaultier wrote. “Treating someone as down-market is cheap.” The designer also advised the award-winning critic to brush up on his fashion history.
