If you see color as a way to lift the spirits, get happy: Los Angeles photographer Ann Summa visited Casa Las Ranas, the home of artist Anado McLauchlin and art historian Richard Schultz, who have created a house of color outside of the artist colony of San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. McLauchlin, also known as James Rayburn McLauchlin III, was largely influenced by Native American art, but after he moved to Mexico, his once-earthy color palette changed to lime greens, hot pinks, sky blues and deep purples.
