The Santa Barbara International Orchid Show returns this weekend with blooms from more than 50 orchid exhibitors and vendors from around the world.

Thousands of orchids will be available for sale in every imaginable shape, color, pattern and texture, including an unusual vanilla orchid and one species that attracts male bees by mimicking the look, scent and feel of a female bee.

There will also be free workshops on orchid care led by orchid experts and open houses at local orchid nurseries. For more information, visit californiaorchidtrail.com.
