The Sept. 22 Julien’s Auctions sale of items from comedian Phyllis Diller’s house in Los Angeles drew light interest on some home furnishings but strong bids on her artwork -- pieces she collected as well as pieces she painted herself. Here’s a peek at some of the surprises.
