Claude Parrish

Parrish of Rancho Palos Verdes is a member of the Board of Equalization, a position he attempted to achieve for a dozen years. His platform for treasurer calls for the elimination of all but the most essential bond issues and streamlining the state's borrowing process to do away with fees charged by investment bankers, consultants and attorneys he describes as Wall Street "middlemen." He also has sponsored legislation to prohibit the collection — through tax withholding — of parking tickets older than three years.
