OVERVIEW

Cutting-edge Formula One technology in a street car, where things like throttle response and traction control can all be adjusted from corner to corner, and full power is achieved at a screamingly high 8500rpm. Changing gear using the sequential manual ‘box takes just 60 milliseconds.

This is the lighter, more powerful version of Ferrari’s beautiful F430, packed with the kind of features one might expect from one of the most successful names in racing. And because it’s Italian, it also looks and sounds wonderful. Which is a good thing, because the stereo system was ditched in order to save weight.

OUR TAKE
Fabulous and highly desirable. All the more so because the first 250 cars being shipped to America have already been sold. So friends of Jay Leno and Nicholas Cage should start being extra nice, just in case those two are buyers.
