Interactive: Soil and blood testing in Boyle Heights, Maywood

California toxic waste regulators expanded soil testing to more homes near the Exide Technologies plant after discovering elevated lead levels at homes last fall. The county is offering free blood screenings for lead poisoning in an area near the plant.
