Border lines

Within the insecure borders of our drawings, cartoonists are doing work that most Americans won’t — trying to make sense of the immigration debate. And, OK, we’ve given you some poor, tired ideas and some muddled messes, but some good stuff too. Pat Oliphant doesn’t sit on the fence with his medieval metaphor. Steve Breen portrays Dubya as a shining beacon of liberty at the golden door, only to be undermined by hardhearted hard-liners. Let’s hope our papers are in order.
