Massive move at LAX begins Friday
LAX is relocating 15 airlines, in a mega-shift of gates and terminals that will begin Friday. The moves will take place at night over a five-day period and are expected to be completed by May 17. The relocations involve about one-third of the airlines using the airport. The changes were forced by the new lease Delta Air Lines signed, moving the carrier from Terminals 5 and 6 to Terminals 2 and 3.
