Vasquez Rocks art workshop: In the June 14 Calendar section, a Weekend Picks item said that the L.A. County Arts Commission would be holding an arts-making workshop at Vasquez Rocks Natural Area in Agua Dulce on Friday and Saturday. The workshop has been postponed indefinitely.

Shortened school year: An article in the June 13 Section A about the response to the decision to shorten the school year in the L.A. Unified School District misidentified the school where Cesar Valadez teaches as Paramount High School. He works at Panorama High School in Panorama City.

Anjelica Huston: In the June 15 edition of The Envelope, an article about “Smash” actress Anjelica Huston said that the show’s songwriters are Scott Wittman and Mark Isham. The songwriters are Wittman and Marc Shaiman.

Emmy drama actors: In the June 15 edition of The Envelope, a column about the front-runners in the Emmy drama series acting categories misidentified “Justified” actor Walton Goggins as Walter Goggins.

Wildfires map: In the June 15 Section A, a map with an article about the effects of smoke from the High Park fire in Colorado showed the Whitewater Baldy fire as being in southeastern New Mexico. That fire is in western New Mexico.

Union work: In the June 15 Section A, the caption for a photo with a column about Tarita Ventura and how her union has given her well-paying work said she was employed as a sheet-mental apprentice. It should have said sheet-metal apprentice.

“Downton Abbey”: In the June 14 edition of The Envelope, an article about the PBS “Masterpiece” series “Downton Abbey” quoted show creator Julian Fellowes referring to the 1981 miniseries “Brideshead Revisited” as having aired on the BBC. It aired on the ITV network in Britain and on PBS in the U.S.
