Student suspensions: In the March 6 LATExtra section, an article that described disproportionate suspension rates of black students said that black students make up 40% of New York City enrollment and 46% of suspensions, citing data released by the U.S. Department of Education. The department has since issued a correction, noting that black students represent 30% of enrollment in New York.

Maxwell Keith: In the March 8 LATExtra section, the obituary of attorney Maxwell Keith, who represented Manson family member Leslie Van Houten, said that her first trial ended in a hung jury. Her first trial ended in a conviction that was later overturned. Her second trial ended in a hung jury, and a third ended in a murder conviction. Keith represented her in all three trials.

Robert Sherman: In the March 7 Section A, the obituary of songwriter Robert Sherman, who with his brother Richard wrote music for Disney films and other projects, referred to P.L. Travers as a British author. The “Mary Poppins” author was born in Australia.
