Megyn Kelly: An article in the Oct. 7 Calendar section about new Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly said MSNBC attracts twice the number of viewers ages 25 to 54 in prime-time as Fox News, according to Nielsen. In fact, Fox News’ prime-time audience includes a substantially higher number of viewers in that age demographic than either MSNBC or CNN.
Somalia raid: An article in the Oct. 7 Section A about a Navy SEAL raid in Somalia misspelled the target of the raid as Ikrina. The correct spelling, according to U.S. officials, is Ikrima.
Cookie recipe: In the Saturday section on Oct. 5, a recipe for chocolate cookies from Andrei’s Restaurant in Irvine did not say when to add the flour mixture to the dough. The flour mixture should be added in Step 3, after the melted chocolate.
