Earthquake: 3.5 quake strikes near Cobb, Calif.

A shallow magnitude 3.5 earthquake was reported Monday afternoon two miles from Cobb, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 5:09 p.m. Pacific time at a depth of 2.5 miles.

According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Clearlake, Calif., 13 miles from Healdsburg, Calif., 16 miles from Windsor, Calif. and 68 miles from Sacramento.

In the last 10 days, there has been one earthquake magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
