A shallow magnitude 3.3 earthquake was reported Sunday morning two miles from Pinnacles, Calif., according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The temblor occurred at 1:02 a.m. Pacific time at a depth of 1.2 miles.
According to the USGS, the epicenter was 13 miles from Soledad, 17 miles from Greenfield and 23 miles from Hollister.
In the last 10 days, there have been no earthquakes of magnitude 3.0 or greater centered nearby.
