Search will continue for missing couple in the Northern California mountains

Rescue crews will resume their search Monday morning for a couple who went missing after their vehicle became stuck in snow while driving in a mountainous area of El Dorado County.

Rory and Susan Holloter of Yuba City were last seen at around 9 a.m. Saturday, according to the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office. They were last heard from Sunday at 12:40 p.m., stating they were stuck in the snow.

The husband and wife are reportedly driving a white Dodge truck, according to the sheriff’s office.

The California Highway Patrol Air Unit assisted with the search Sunday in the area of Wentworth Springs Road until it was called off for the night. The search will resume at 7 a.m. Monday, officials said.
