Los Angeles police said a string of shootings Sunday morning that left three people dead and two injured appeared to be connected.
Police are looking for a tan or light-colored SUV that detectives believe was involved in the shootings, which all occurred in the northeast San Fernando Valley within an hour beginning at 5:50 a.m.
First, a woman was fatally shot and two others were injured. Minutes later, a man was found dead a few miles away, followed by another woman at a third scene.
